Support

  • Volunteer Referral Program: Register with IVC and you can access the Volunteer Referral Program where we help you with your Volunteer Recruitment plans by promoting your volunteer positions in a variety of ways!
  • Training & Networks: IVC puts a lot of effort into making sure we are presenting topics you are interested in!
  • Volunteer Management Consulting: If you have an organizational or volunteer management issue and need advice or ideas…we can help!

Resources:

  • Media Guide June 2011 This is a guide to places your organization can advertise events and promote volunteer opportunities through all kinds of media. Print, TV, Radio, Bulletin and Digital Boards…anything we could think of and gather info on.
  • Resource Library: We have donated the main part of our extensive resource library to the Strathcona County Library. So you can find many books on topics in Volunteer Management, Governance Issues, Fund Raising and more…all at the Library! We still have a small selection of books at our office for in house use…you are welcome to check it out!
  • Resource Cupboard: We have a big cupboard that is filled with brochures, information packages, and more valuable resources from a variety of great places. Screening information, board of directors info sheets, volunteer management and more. Maybe we have something for your next meeting!
  • Community Calendar: The County website hosts this valuable tool for organizations and it is updated by us at IVC! Use it to promote your events and activities.
  • govolunteer.ca: This is a database where you can promote your volunteer opportunities. IVC manages access for our registered Strathcona County organizations. Contact us to get your access passwords.

There are many other organizations with valuable resources for non-profit organizations. Check them out!

So don’t be a stranger. Call or drop by and let’s see what we can do together!
