Animal Assisted Therapy
The volunteer/ handler team will provide therapeutic enhancement to programs and services offered to clients. Animal-assisted therapies and activities are therapeutic adjuncts that focus on helping children and adolescents through interactions with a skilled animal, a person who is skilled in human-animal interactions and a professional mental health practitioner.
