About Capture Our Spirit
Capture Our Spirit, a youth volunteer program unique to Strathcona County, seeks innovative ways to incorporate youth volunteers in our comunity. It also encourages the recognition of the contributions and participation of youth from Strathcona County.
Capture Our Spirit:
- encourages, promotes and celebrates youth volunteerism.
- maintains and coordinates Youth Volunteer Bulletin Boards in schools, around the community and online.
- offers presentation on youth volunteerism to educate and create awareness of the value of youth volunteerism.
- coordinates a youth committee to produce a monthly Youth Page in Strathcona County This Week newspaper to promote youth volunteerism.
- provides an online youth forum to share project ideas and inspire future youth involvement. Looking for project ideas? Click here!
- produces a Youth Volunteering Resource Kit.
- will provide Recognition Certificates to the community as a means of celebrating youth volunteer accomplishments.
