Sherwood Park News article on partnership with Edmonton Meals on Wheels
Great weekend of Community Pop Up events at Partridge Hill Community Hall (Saturday) and Good Hope Community Hall (Sunday). Always a pleasure to partner with the SC Library Bookmobile on these events, which provides a colorful and engaging opportunity for both organizations to speak with residents and, more importantly, for neighbours to connect with neighbours.
With our inaugural Pop Up season coming to a close, we do want to thank all our partners on this project: Bouncin’ Around, without whom none of this could have happened; Lil Johns Sign Shop, for the amazing work on the new IVC event tent; and Charmaine at Pinnacle Sportswear and Promotions for her awesome designs on the first generation IVC hat and shirt collection. If you would like to discuss Fall and Winter event opportunities with IVC, please never hesitate to give us a call at 780.464.4242.

Sherwood Park News article on Community Pop-Up initiative
Be sure to read Megan Voss’s great article in the Sherwood Park News tracing the success in partnering with Edmonton Meals on Wheels to bring the Chef’s Choice frozen meals program closer to residents of Strathcona County. We are almost a year into this program, and the results have far exceeded our initial expectations. Hundreds of meals leave our office every month, providing much needed support to local families searching for affordable and nutritious alternatives for meal time. If you are part of an organization that would like to help us extend the reach of this program across the County, please contact Caron at 780.464.4242 for details.

Be sure to read Krysta Martell’s great Sherwood Park News article on our Community Pop-Up initiative (click here). We will be popping up next on Thursday, July 16 at Ball Island in Sherwood Park as part of the Ball Lake Pond Party hosted by Strathcona County. Be sure to come visit, weather permitting, between 6:30 and 9:00 p.m., and do follow us on Twitter to find out where and when we will be popping up next. Empowering our community, one bounce at a time.
